Bitcoin Block Size is Being Increased

Finally the Bitcoin block size is being increased. Its been artificially capped at 1MB for a long time, but the network is finally maturing enough to justify an increase. I genuinely feel that an increase has been long overdue. We want a protocol and network that can scale with future demand and not a network that can only handle 7 transactions a second. What is everyone elses thoughts on this?
